I practice listening-based design; balancing the functional needs and wants of clients and homeowners with a sense of aesthetic form and space.

I enjoy developing a creative vision for each project and view a successful design process as one in which authorship is shared with the client, representing their specific sense of home and unique interests.

My work is brought to reality by working closely with builders, craftspeople, interior designers, landscape architects, artists, and others.

ABOUT ME

A registered architect, I’m a Massachusetts native, grew up in Middlesex County with summers on the outer Cape. With more than 13 years experience, I bring both a breadth and a depth to each of my projects. My belief in holistic design led me to develop a broad set of skills, advantageous to both my clients and my project teams. Having worked on projects of all scales and many types, often from beginning planning stages through to construction completion, I bring a diverse and expansive way of thinking to each design challenge, helping clients develop spaces that are both beautiful and practical.

My design work has been featured in Boston Home Magazine, the Boston Globe, Remodelista, the New York Times, and awarded by the Boston Society of Architects.

THE NAME

Woolfall is my father’s mother’s maiden name.

She and many of my grandparents and great-grand parents were immigrants or children of immigrants born and raised in Lowell. Despite not getting to know her personally, I feel a sense of kinship growing up and hearing stories of her career in real estate, love of piano playing, and sense of humor.

I now live and work under her name in the city she grew up in, continuing the legacy of women in the workplace Lowell is known for.
