Scope: Residential Interior Renovation

An opportunity presented itself to purchase and renovate a condo in one of the many Lowell mill buildings. The unit had large windows that looked out into one of the feeder canals, providing water that once flowed under the building. Coating walls in a dark green paint that shifted with the quality of the diffused light created an atmosphere akin to a Dutch painting, setting corners and edges in shadow and making the most of the available space.

Both kitchen and bathroom were taken down to studs, doors between bathroom and bedroom were relocated for better storage opportunities. Small spaces must take advantage of every cubic inch, with storage tucked behind reclaimed doors, curtains, hung on hooks and rails, and objects our for display.
